Introducing the CODA-Control products

CODA’s technology partnership with Microsoft enables you to maximize the return on both your investment in CODA solutions and the Microsoft technologies and skills that you already have across your organization.

In addition to new solutions such as CODA-XL and CODA c-Planning, CODA has developed a major new suite of products to deliver and apply enhanced business process control for any ERP or accounting system.

The CODA-Control products (Architect, Manager and Assessor) are three integrated process control tools that can be used together or independently. They offer a complete end-to-end solution that will enable businesses to create, control and assess their business processes. For example, helping organizations achieve best practice and compliance with emerging governance legislation and to escape from the costly perpetual cycle of documenting and re-documenting their control processes.

CODA-Control products in action

Our Control suite offers a radical new approach to make the business processes that underpin “Enterprise Governance” more visible, repeatable, controlled and auditable.

For example:

• Process management and finance automation – CODA-Control Manager can be tailored to a wide range of specific process challenges that organizations commonly face. These include: period-end close and financial reporting; the implementation, running and reporting of an organization’s Corporate Responsibility activities; and a huge variety of other recurring or ad hoc financial and non-financial business processes.
• Compliance, risk and internal controls management – the three CODA-Control products (Architect, Manager and Assessor) have been designed to build upon the benefits of enhanced process management and offer the best ways to address all levels of enterprise governance activity. They can be applied to deliver better internal control across commercial or public sector organizations – either as part of pursuing operational best practice or in response to specific legislation around the world. For example, they are already helping organizations not only to meet the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act more effectively but also to build ongoing compliance and risk management into the business through the improved design, management and control of key processes. Other methodologies are already in development to provide similar support for current and forthcoming legislation, including: Basel II, the Code Tabaksblat (in the Netherlands) and the LSF(in France).
